TOPIC: Walking By Faith

TEXT: (for we walk by faith, not by sight). 2 Corinthians 5:7 kjv

As a Christian, Faith should be a lifestyle; not something required when you need it. Walking & living by Faith should be something we do all the time; in Christendom, we walk by Faith & not by sight.

Walking by faith means fixing your eyes on the Word irrespective of the circumstances or what your senses tell you.

Breathing, for instance, is not something you are reminded to do or something you chose to do sometimes. As every living thing must breathe without being told, so it is with Faith if you want to live a triumphant Christian life.
When you walk in Faith, you are living by the Word and that act connects you to the supernatural which is the spirit realm; we know the physical is controlled by the spiritual. So, how do one access faith?

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think sober, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of Faith.” - Romans 12:3.

This means once you get born again, you have faith in you & God deals with you according to the measure of your Faith. In other words, you get things from God according to the level of Faith you exercise.

Jesus speaking in Mattew 17:20, ……verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”. So begin by using the little Faith you inherit from new birth; it is powerful enough to move mountains. But you must grow your faith; challenges in life are in levels.

So, if you want to get big things from God, you need to grow your faith.  The level of Faith a man uses for head ache cannot be the same he’ll use for cancer. The level of Faith you use to get $1million cannot be the same Faith to get $1billion.

You must be conscious of the fact that you need to grow your faith continually, if you must access the treasures of heaven. The more you grow your Faith, the more treasures in heaven you gain access to.

How do you grow your faith? Always focus your eyes on the Word concerning all issues of your life and see everything you desire as done. This lifestyle requires you to be dead to your sensory perception, no matter the circumstance.

The more you learn and act on the Word, the more your Faith gets strengthened and grows.  Faith constantly keeps you in the spirit realm and that is how to dominate every circumstance to live a triumphant life.

So shall it be unto you, in Jesus name, Amen!

You can only live and walk by Faith when you are connected with God. And the only way to connect with Him is to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal savior.

In John 14: 6, Jesus saith, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you are yet to accept Jesus into your heart, this is the time to do that and connect with God for the strength to run with your Vision.

Make up your mind and say this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, And I believe you died for me, I surrender my life to you this minute, Please come in and cleanse me with your blood, From now on, you are the master of my life.

I’m cleansed, I’m saved and I’m born again, until the day of your appearing, In Jesus’ name, Amen!
